Joined the Museum Board of Directors in 2017. Providing a one-of-a-kind, hands- on experience with computer technology from the 1960s to the present, the LCM honors the history of computing with the worlds largest collection of fully restored and usable supercomputers, mainframes, minicomputers and microcomputers. Visitors engage in direct experiences with robotics, virtual reality, artificial intelligence, self- driving cars, big data, the Internet of Things, video-game making, digital art and more.

Directed Vulcan’s new technology programs. Responsible for sourcing, investment diligence, internal development and spin-outs. Programs included: a blockchain stablecoin company, autonomous fixed-wing drones, augmented reality, clean energy, satellite image machine learning, disease outbreak prediction, and sports technology. Oversight and investment review of space launch and nuclear energy programs.

Directed research programs supporting intellectual property investment. Led new initiatives programs, new business, portfolio discovery and diligence. Increased laboratory funding over 4 years from 6 to 40 million dollars. Programs included: metamaterial antennas (spun off as Kymeta Corp.), malaria eradication technologies, vaccine cold chain devices (licensed by Aucma Co.), and projects in nanoscale science, photonics, mathematical modeling, microbial biology and medical devices. Managed relation- ships between investors, corporations, non-profit organizations and other stakeholder groups.

Corporate strategic and technical director. Responsible for product and technology development of a mobile social networking and crowd-sourcing application suite. Initial products delivered in spring 2008. Developed intellectual property and assembled the company's technical development team. Assisted with the acquisition of venture capital. U.S. patent No. 7,822,808 granted October 26, 2010.

One of the five original Blue Origin employees. Built and led engineering for one of the first private space launch companies. Led new vehicle design, business development and facility operations. Delivered first launch vehicles. Managed R&D for ignition concepts and advanced propulsion systems and established safety and quality control processes. Recruited board members, managers, and teams of engineers, designers and fabricators.

Disappearing Inc. provided cryptographic information protection services. Responsible for co-founding the company with several partners, developing the business model and building and leading the technology team. Inventor on US patent nos. 6,625,734, 7,096,355 and 7,246,378 for the application of cryptographic protocols. Raised venture capital funding from KPCB, Fujitsu and others. Awarded the 2001 SIIA Codie award for most innovative software product. Acquired by Liquid Computing.

Using communication antennas in the Deep Space Network, detected, tracked and imaged Earth-approaching asteroids, planets and rocky satellites. NASA achievement award. Numerous discoveries.
