Technology-based economic development, or TBED, is an approach used to help create an environment where this activity can thrive. KSTC supports accelerating Kentucky and US-based innovation through a variety of programs providing service and support for: Researchers, labs and resources that generate new knowledge; Translation and transfer of knowledge to industry and the market; An entrepreneurial culture; Risk and venture capital; and, An advanced workforce, skilled in STEM.
