    I built and managed our cross category integrated marketing strategy, and also led partner marketing for emerging verticals including electronics, auto and education. In my first year at Affirm, I built the company's first full funnel consumer marketing campaign to target high value customers. I also delivered the B2B2C marketing strategy for the fashion category resulting in increased consumer purchases and sales leads.

    Contracting Agency: Nelson I led agency strategy and agency-client relationships for Google Cloud. I delivered 2018 annual savings goals in H1, and created an agency strategy that empowers an organization of 400+ marketers to build creative campaigns that delivered on business objectives. Relationships I managed included the double Cannes winning Google Cloud NCAA campaign.

  • Senior Marketing Manager - eBay Classifieds Group, Incubator

    2016 - 2017

    Close5 was an incubator company in the eBay Classifieds Group to reimagine the local classifieds experience. I ran brand marketing and PR during period of rapid growth from 7M to 10M downloads in 6 months. I ran pilot tests to successfully prove the value of partner marketing with the eBay brand, leading to a significant impact on business strategy.

  • Brand & Integrated Marketing Manager - eBay Fashion

    2015 - 2016

    I joined the eBay Fashion team to reposition the eBay Fashion brand to meet a new business strategy. The resulting brand campaign "Find Your Perfect" resulted in a lift in revenue and won the external agency a Silver Effie. The campaign delivered $270M growth over a 9 month period. During this time I also built an adjacent business Made-By from the ground up, including naming, positioning, product definition, vendor recruitment strategy and marketing launch plan.

    2014 - 2015

    I supported the CMO, CCO and VP of Brand Strategy developing and executing brand strategy and architecture to steer the brand through the PayPal separation. I managed owned channel execution of eBay's first global brand campaign, and assumed decision making authority on brand compliance. During this time eBay achieved #28 global brand ranking.

    Managed owned and paid channels for for geo-expansion, new product and new retail partner launches for the first major on demand one-hour delivery service, exceeding key partner goals by up to 300%.

  • MBA Marketing Intern - eBay Deals

    During a twelve week internship I built and executed the first social media publishing strategy for eBay Deals, resulting in a 3x lift in engagement. I developed recommendations for optimizing affiliate marketing, including adding customization features for affiliates RSS feeds. I also performed competitive research. Based on my performance I was offered a post graduation full time role.

    2006 - 2011

    I honed my project management skills at the Cities group, the top performing public self-insured fund in California. I navigated complex organizations and teams to deliver one of the first Medical Provider Networks for public employees to be approved in California, ensuring that public safety officers and other government employees had access to world class healthcare in the event of an injury. These programs also allowed members to remain eligible for programs that saved up to 80% on program costs.

  • Assistant Account Executive

    2005 - 2006

    I joined McCann Healthcare to launch a blockbuster pharmaceutical. On my first day of work, news broke that patients in clinical trials were experiencing potentially fatal side affects, and launch plans were indefinitely delayed. The entire team quickly shifted from launch mode to crisis management mode, working with physicians to develop educational materials for patients to prepare them for new rounds of testing, and developed a side effect tracking program used by over 60k patients. I oversaw development of all creative materials, negotiated budget and project deliverables. I also delivered competitive research and focus group analysis. The programs and materials retained brand equity and trust with prescribing physicians, clearing the way for a relaunch.

    I assisted with marketing, communications and planning for large scale fundraising events such as Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk, Relay for Life Rally, and galas to raise up to $500k per event, and up to 10k participants. I also managed key fundraiser and group leader account relationships to increase retention.
