Arthur Ventures is an early-stage growth equity firm that invests in high-growth, B2B software companies located across all regions of the United States and Canada. As a Vice President and Associate, I sourced, evaluated, and executed early-stage software investments for the firm’s 2019, 2021, and 2023 vintage funds and complimentary strategies. During my tenure, I completed 20+ transactions, individually sourced ~20 investment opportunities, and extensively supported the scaling of the firm from $275M AUM to $1.1B AUM over a four-year period. I also served as the primary resource, Board Observer, and / or Board Director for 10+ of the firm’s portfolio companies.

Strategy & Corporate Development

In this Strategy & Corporate Development role, I served as the right-hand person to the CEO at a private investment firm, which had purchased a large, 23-store retail organization as its first platform investment. My responsibilities involved supporting the CEO with all growth and operational initiatives of the portfolio company and managing separate foundational and strategic projects for the investment firm. I helped the portfolio company secure debt financing with a large financial institution, created and ran their financial model, evaluated multiple acquisition opportunities, managed real estate sale processes, and assisted with rebranding / marketing efforts. Effectively a Chief of Staff in my responsibilities, I also worked daily with the executive team to address operational challenges, specifically around growth and exit opportunities, IT, and go-to-market.
