X (formerly Google X)'s mission is to invent and launch moonshot technologies that make the world a radically better place. www.x.company. I joined X in 2013 when the group was just a few years old, as one of its early non-engineering hires. At X, I partnered with best-in-class technical leaders to lead “all things non-technical” and launched world-changing products/companies including Wing (a delivery drone service, now a multi-billion dollar company) and a smart contact lens for diabetics (licensed to Novartis). I also worked with our Rapid Eval team to evaluate and kill many, many projects (an important part of innovation!). I curated the lessons we were learning about 10x, world-changing innovation in real-time and delivered more than 100+ speeches and workshops across the US, Europe, India, and Singapore to help executives and leaders think radically differently about how to launch new products, companies, and movements.
