The Civil Contractors Federation (CCF) is the peak industry body of the Civil Construction space. The CCF lobby on behalf of the industry, as well as providing advisory services, training and education to Civil Contractors and their employees. At CCF I was tasked with undertaking a strategic 12 month plan to increase membership of the federation. While there I undertook a number of sales initiatives which led to a 20% increase of quality members with a 90% retention rate. These include 2 of the largest current members of the Federation.

During my time I built up my own networks within the Civil Construction space, and was selected to represent the company at the worlds largest Civil trade show - Bauma in Munich, Germany.

ABN Newswire is the leading Newswire service in Asia, and is a globally recognised press release distributor for the region. They offer multi-lingual release distribution in 12 languages for listed companies across the globe – predominantly as a subscription service. As a BDD I dealt directly with C-level clients, predominantly in the listed mining space. Sales were done both on the phone and face-to-face. While there I managed to close my first Contract within a week of starting, and Achieved the highest sales figure of any sales person in their first month. I also championed a new initiative within the company to partner with stockbroking firms to improve distribution and provide the company with a continual income stream.

The Hubb Financial Group is a financial services company dedicated to servicing investors. The Group operates three major divisions – Financial Services (retail and corporate), Investment Software, and Investor Education. While at Hubb I was responsible for running their advanced trading seminars with groups ranging from 10-30 staff. After being promoted to be solely responsible for running these events in 2009 using a number of new initiatives I managed to increase the average events Sales per head from $100 to in excess of $1000 over a 12 month period.
