The Pricing Group is responsible for complete, accurate and timely pricing data to support the investment process of BlackRock and BlackRock Solutions Clients. This data includes valuations necessary to correctly model and price all financial instruments in BlackRock's propriety trading system, Aladdin. The Valuation Team within the Pricing Group supports the investment valuation function for private, illiquid investments acting as the interface between the investment professionals, external valuation providers, accounting outsource providers, auditors, and Global Fund Services.

Provides valuation services of privately held business entities. Uses software and spreadsheets to analyze the facts and circumstances of each case. Gathers, inputs and analyzes financial data within the framework of applicable valuation methodology. Researches current markets, economic trends, and transactional data to aid report writing and reaching value conclusions. Makes regular data updates and aids in template writing and methodology development. Works and coordinates with internal and external clients to facilitate the valuation process and timely delivery of products/services.
