Developing overall company strategy, both from technical and business point of view. Building up NUMENUS was a very exciting adventure. Fulfilling several roles at the same time from talent acquisition to investor negotiations as well as selling and developing the actual product within the available budget. Technical development included cross platform ray tracing and GUI components as well as integrating new plugins. NUMENUS focused on technology to enable real time ray tracing of free-form surfaces (NURBS) instead of triangles for the high end visualization in the automotive sector. The company was sold to Autodesk in 2011 and the direct NURBS raytracing technology is today still available in VRED.
