Offshore Sailor

- Over 6000 nautical miles of offshore sailing logged. - Boat captain for the Newport-Bermuda race on JV66 Numbers (11th). I spent most of 2018 working on, in, and around sailboats, preparing as well as racing boats in offshore competitions. Since graduating school, I covered more than 6,000 nautical miles of open ocean in adventures that have taken me from Newport to Puerto Rico, NYC, Bermuda, and Miami. These experiences have taught me valuable lessons in manual labor, planning, teamwork, competition, and emergency management alongside pushing the bounds of my skills as a sailor.
