  • Intern as Non-Destructive Testing Inspector

    2014 - 2015

    While doing my internship I learned techniques for NDT Inspection, such as magnetic particle inspection and visual inspection. I was also part of the team that did Quality testing of an Industrial Steam Boiler at the National Hospital. We tested the boilers environment, it’s inside and outside, the exhaust piping and the tubes. Few different major cracks were found, and we suggested few different treatment options.

    The Corporate Relations Committee coordinates the relations between ESTIEM, companies and universities. It is also responsible for the fundraising of the whole organization, helps all of the ESTIEM projects and all of the 72 Local Groups with various tasks like preparing company visits, surveys and brochures, creating and proofreading offer letters, give them best practice documents and scenarios etc… My job as a leader of this committee other than coordinating the work of the committee was to build a team, introduce new way of fundraising, and improve ESTIEMs fundraising situation on the long run.

    Other than the usual Business Analyst duties (such as: analyzing the organization and its business domain, analyzing the business processes and systems, as well as assessing the business model.) I worked on two separate projects concerning an International company that provides financial services and insurance. The first project was about and introduction of a new sales process where brokers are introduced. The second project was about shortening the decision making process.
