In 2010 the company and team was backed by GvH and HarbourVest and got fully independent - now named as HV Holtzbrinck Ventures Adviser GmbH 50% of the portfolio companies were founded by or together with Holtzbrinck Ventures. This shows the strong entrepreneurial spirit within our company. Among the portfolio companies there were Groupon Inc, Zalando, Woooga, Parship as Europe´s leading online relationship agency, Mindmatics as leading german mobile services provider, BOL.COM as Hollands strongest online media retailer, GameDuell, Germany´s No.1. online skill gaming plattform and Audible.de as download plattform for audiobooks and StudiVZ, germanies largest website.
