Project B is a software that automates the manufacturing of high-quality knitted garments, eliminating unsold inventory from overstock, missed sales due to stockouts, and revenue loss from preventable returns. Using their AI, they automatically convert consumer data into printable garments, without the need of human intervention. They help brands maximize margins and unlock hyper-personalization at scale for the first time in history, transforming a brand's supply chain from a cost center into a competitive advantage. They’ve piloted their technology with a working model for bras (they’re making $80 per bra with local manufacturing) and are expanding to service the fashion industry at large. The founders are Cornell University graduates. Zain’s background is in supply chain management and data science and was part of a 6 person team at Amazon responsible for building worldwide logistics systems, enabling same-day delivery and redesigning returns management. Bella, with an MS in technical product design, has a background in computer science and fashion. She is an inventor of 3D textiles and builds human-centered design experiences at the intersection of the digital and physical worlds.
