With 110+ events organized since 2011 and 20,000+ members, Data Driven NYC has become the largest community of its kind in the United States. * The MAD Podcast: a podcast-only spin-off of Data Driven NYC, with weekly episodes available on YouTube, Apple Podcasts and Spotify.

    Organizer and host of Hardwired NYC, a 7,000+ person community focused on frontier tech and emerging computing platforms: IoT drones, robotics, AR/VR, 3D printing, space, etc. [on hiatus since the pandemic]

    Bloomberg Ventures (which has now morphed into Bloomberg Beta) was the initial incubation and venture arm of Bloomberg L.P.

    Joined Oracle as Senior Director following the acquisition of TripleHop Technologies. Focused on launching new products globally (product, GTM, partnerships), in several categories, including enterprise search (Oracle SES) and collaboration (Oracle Collabsuite).

  • Co-Founder, President & COO

    2000 - 2005

    Co-founded enterprise search software startup, led product and GTM efforts. Our software MatchPoint used AI Bayesian techniques to search, classify and manage unstructured data. Company was venture-backed and headquartered in New York, with offices in London and Paris. Acquired by Oracle to accelerate Oracle's efforts in enterprise search (MatchPoint became Oracle Secure Enterprise Search).
