Connecticut Public is the statewide affiliate of NPR and PBS along with other national programming. Connecticut Public has four television stations airing three distinct broadcast channels —CPTV; CPTV Spirit and CPTV 24/7 Kids—; multiple radio stations and translator sites across the state extending the reach of Connecticut Public Radio throughout Connecticut and the Northern end of Long Island, New York. CT Public hosts two primary websites—ctpublic.org and CPTV.org—and a print partnership with Connecticut Magazine. Connecticut Public also regularly publishes a wide variety of e-mail newsletters for citizens interested in news, education, health, children's and family information, television programming and others.

As an Executive in Residence at Columbia Technology Ventures, I work with entrepreneurs and inventors at Columbia University to facilitate the transfer of research innovations from the lab to the market, as well as supporting startup efforts. Columbia Technology Ventures, the technology transfer office of Columbia University, manages more than 400 invention disclosures from faculty, 100 license deals and 20+ new startups each year. CTV currently has over 1,500 patent assets available for licensing across research fields such as biopharma, medical devices, software, cleantech, semiconductors, and material science.
