Part of StartX’s fall 2014 batch of startups and after demo day was picked by TechCrunch as one of their top five. I was fifth hire to spin up engineering team and technology, growing from 1 engineer to 20+ and building from prototype to consumer product. Vouch’s first products tackled the problem of good consumer lending options for an underserved population, with a strong emphasis on reaching mobile users via web and native iOS and Android.

    Connected payroll providers on disparate platforms to provide a consolidated, canonical understanding of an employee's income history for FCRA approved verifiers. Joined as employee #3 to build up software and team. • FairLoan launched Dec 2012, a consumer loan product built in 3 months with Pivotal Labs, fully in-house by Jan 2013. In Jan 2014 launched private beta of income verification product, Trulify. • Built vendor agnostic payroll integration platform for pushing and pulling data, including employment history and loan repayment via ACH.
