As CTO, I hired and led a team of engineers to innovate a real-time analytics stack that eventually scaled to process 100s of billions of events daily across 1000s of servers. We leveraged a suite of leading frameworks (Kafka, Spark, Node/React) and invented and open-sourced an award-winning distributed database called Druid.

Dataspora was a predictive analytics software and services firm whose clients included banks, telcos, and digital media companies. We were a team of data scientists with Ph.D.s in everything from theoretical physics, mathematics, to computational biology and helped firms accelerate their data strategies. Dataspora was acquired by Via Science in 2011.
