THQ*ICE was a joint venture between THQ, a leading global games publisher, and ICE Entertainment, an online games operator in China. We were among pioneers in bringing the free-to-play gaming model to the US. As Employee #1, I oversaw and built operations for a 40-person team, and led the development and launch of our MMO games platform within 1 year. THQ*ICE was ultimately acquired by The9, to establish its North American Operations division.
