Built and teaching a course titled “Disruptive Innovation in Multinational Corporations”. The course is exploring historical innovation processes which raised or failed leading high tech corporates over the past few years. The course is tailored for A+ students or entrepreneurs looking to gain insights about what make corporates successful over years, how they innovate, and fundamental tools for startups / multi national corporates collaborations.

Heading GM Ventures global Electrification fund with a focus on EV and stationary battery technologies, power electronics, manufacturing and energy solutions developed towards a sustainable future. Led seed, series A and series B investments in innovative battery companies such as Mitra Chem (AI for CAM commercialization), Addionics (3D current collector), and Forge Nano (ALD surface engineering in battery manufacturing).

Head of Lear Innovation Ventures (LIV) in Israel. Established a local R&D center based on the acquisition of Exo technologies (high accuracy positioning platform for autonomous cars). Team responsible for successful integration of startups technologies into OEM production programs in security and sensors technology. Invested in Maniv Mobility fund as strategic LP. Reported to Lear’s global CTO, working on global strategy, local partnerships, investments, and acquisitions. Focus areas: innovation in processes, products, and business models (embedded software and hardware), EVs, mobility services, connectivity, sensors, materials and industry 4.0.

2014 - 2017

Established 3M Israel R&D, responsible for innovation and ventures activities. Focus areas: Digital transformation in electronics, automotive, healthcare, IOT, energy. Lead a JV with IOT startup which became 3M’s R&D center in connected devices. Worked with local startups on integrating new product strategies and business models into 3M’s materials solutions transitioning from hardware to service based software solutions. Worked closely with 3M's Corporate Research Lab directors on refreshing R&D strategies.
