In honor of my grandmother, I founded ALS Project Run and individually ran 2,926 miles from San Francisco to New York City in 95 days to raise money and awareness for ALS and neurodegenerative diseases. In addition to this physical feat, I handled the logistics of communicating a unified market message through an active social media presence, traditional news outlets, and email campaign, partnering with other companies and brands (including the New York Mets, Dan and John’s Wings, RUNA, Better Beast, Project ALS, etc.), and coordinating a diverse team to achieve a common mission. Ultimately, we were successful in raising over $50,000 in three months and spreading our message to over 20,000 individuals.
