By combining the knowledge of our 100+ prolific industry leaders as limited partners and our deep understanding and influence on a wide variety of markets, Mantis pursues the most disruptive and defensible early-stage companies that adopt emerging technologies. We seek to invest in companies that incubate positive change in the world at large.

    Parallel18 is an economic development initiative that attracts early stage, high-impact startups that can scale from Puerto Rico to global communities, beyond the island, including Mainland US, Latin America, and Europe. The goal of the program is to position Puerto Rico’s as a unique gateway to scale globally. We have the support of the Puerto Rico Science and Technology Trust, the Department of Economic Development and Commerce and the Puerto Rico Industrial Development Company.

    APPNATION was the first global conference and exposition to focus exclusively on the broader app economy and has now produced / co-produced eleven conferences and events worldwide to-date in New York, San Francisco, Atlanta, Dubai, and Barcelona. APPNATION focuses on the key business issues across the burgeoning app ecosystem including discovery, monetization, distribution, and business development / financing. ● Planning of the emerging technology area at APPNATION Conference ● Sourcing of startups: Outreach leading incubators, accelerators and universities by leveraging existing contacts and developing new relationships ● Managing application process: Setting of screening-criteria and reviewing submissions ● Increasing engagement between speakers and startups by introducing startups to relevant executives and managing speaker-office-hours
