    I am responsible for developing the innovation program strategy and approach to leverage Redesign Health’s proven methodology and platform capabilities in partnering with healthcare leaders. I lead a high-performing team of Innovation Program Directors focused on developing and fostering innovation partnerships across multiple customer segments.

    The Lehigh Technical Entrepreneurship (TE) program helps students develop the entrepreneurial mindset needed to create, refine and commercialize new products and services, whether in an established company or a start-up. As an adjunct faculty member, I develop and execute learning plans that enable students to experience the idea-to-venture process in an education environment that is hard-wired to support the development of novel, innovative, and commercially-viable technologies.

    Through I-Corps, NSF grantees learn to identify valuable product opportunities that can emerge from academic research, and gain skills in entrepreneurship through training in customer discovery and guidance from established entrepreneurs.     I guided corporate clients through the journey of discovering, vetting, partnering with, and investing in cutting-edge startups. I delivered innovation programs, working with corporate clients to understand their business and innovation priorities and communicate strategy & recommendations. My team sourced and vetted innovative startup solutions and managed high-impact pilots with startups on behalf of clients to rapidly test potential partnerships. designed to help them identify, vet, and partner with startups.     2021 - 2022

    I developed and executed Corbion's open innovation strategy, resulting in 30+ relationships with key accelerators, venture funds, universities, and other stakeholders and a pipeline of 50+ potential partners. Starting with identifying strategic priorities for the food and materials businesses, I scouted and vetted new technology opportunities to grow Corbion's innovation portfolio. Corbion is a Dutch food and biochemicals company headquartered in Amsterdam, Netherlands. It produces bioingredient-based foods, chemicals derived from organic acids, and lactic acid based solutions for the food, chemical and pharmaceutical industries.

    I explored the opportunity to launch a fund investing in Seed & Series A rounds of Clean Tech startups with innovative technology in the green chemicals and renewable materials spaces.

  • Adjunct Faculty, Horn Entrepreneurship

    2021 - 2021

    I designed and taught a biweekly course in corporate innovation and entrepreneurship that looked at challenges associated with exploring new ideas while optimizing value delivery and capture from existing products. The course covered issues of governance, leadership, technology introduction, and portfolio management.

    I overhauled the studio structure and processes to better align with corporate clients' and healthcare ventures' needs, scaling the venture building process to explore 6 to 8 opportunities simultaneously. I also established the necessary governance to move to a venture fund-backed model.

    2018 - 2020

    As part of the two-person team that relaunched DuPont Ventures, I scouted and vetted early-stage startups aligned with the strategic needs of 11 innovation growth platforms. The deal flow I generated led to seven investments and five additional advanced partnerships aligned with business unit growth objectives and corporate strategic goals. My work included supporting due diligence, proof of concept and proof of value trials, development and negotiation of term sheets, and post-deal portfolio management.

    2017 - 2020

    I coached internal teams at a 200+ year old company to think and act like startups, embedding lean startup culture and enabling pursuit of early-stage opportunities at scale and accelerating the development of 25+ early-stage opportunities. I scaled innovation capabilities by designing and delivering the company’s “Innovators Playbook” toolkit to 32K employees and fostering design thinking and business model innovation through new communities of practice.

    2016 - 2017

    Dreamit is a leading venture fund focused on startups with revenue or pilots that are ready to scale. I joined to pivot the model from a regionally-focused strategy to focus on industry verticals. I hired and managed a team of five to scale accelerator programs in healthcare, urban tech, and education, sourcing over 12K startups annually. I led corporate partnership programs to bring startups and an entrepreneurial mindset to large organizations via customer sprints. I also designed investor sprints to accelerate startup fundraising efforts, leading to 25 opportunities that raised future rounds.

  • Head of Entrepreneur Development | Lean Startup | Coaching

    2015 - 2016

    I spearheaded the acceleration experience for a 10 startup cohort from providing weekly feedback sessions to connections with mentors & advisors to setting the strategy for a self-serve learning model, curating a robust curriculum of 30+ high-caliber expert speakers on topics instrumental to startup success. Additionally, I brokered 150+ investor meetings between startups and leading angels & VC investment firms.

  • Innovation & Entrepreneurship Adviser to the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia

    2014 - 2015

    As part of a collaboration between Dreamit Ventures and the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, I vetted over 100 internal innovations and potential spinouts and then provided intense strategic guidance and early business model refinement for select promising ventures. Through this process,  I led large group workshops and one-on-one sessions, educating hundreds of clinical staff, researchers, and administration team members on discipline of identifying and de-risking critical assumptions to enable more innovative ideas to make it to market faster.
