Applican provides courses for students applying to study medicine in the UK in application processes, admission tests and interview preparation. It expanded over 4 years to provide courses in 8 different UK cities, delivering material to 500 students annually. Whilst only 8% of students that apply to medical school in the UK receive a place, >90% of students that attended our courses over the 6 years received an offer. In. 2017, Applican partnered with IntoUniversity, to build a social enterprise arm which supports students from disadvantaged backgrounds and I am an advisor to IntoUniversity & Royal Society of Medicine in their access work. This led to the launch of the IntoMedicine programme which now runs annually for hundreds of students from disadvantaged backgrounds across the UK to support them with information provision, training, mentoring and coaching as they go through the application and selection processes for medical school.

Forward is working to connect healthcare teams around the world, empowering health professionals to spend more time with their patients, doing the things that matter. As a founding team member, I expanded the user base 10 fold and led user growth & engagement across a number of large NHS trusts whilst leading the marketing & user community as featured in the Times, Forbes, BBC, Independent, Guardian, Telegraph, BMJ and HSJ. This culminated in helping close Forward's $3.9million seed funding round. forwardhealth.co
