Planned Parenthood Action Fund is a nonprofit, non-partisan organization working to advance access to sexual health care and defend reproductive rights. Many of Planned Parenthood’s patients are people who have historically faced barriers to quality health care. Often, these patients are people of color, people who live in rural areas, LGBTQ people, people with low incomes, and people without health insurance.

The National Science and Technology Medals Foundation (NSTMF) strives to serve underrepresented communities in STEM, elevating voices that have historically been left out of the conversation. Through targeted programming, NSTMF is inspiring a new generation of STEM pioneers that reflects the strength of diversity in our society with the goal of creating a world in which the diversity of American society is reflected in the recipients of all prestigious STEM honors, including future Laureate classes of the National Medal of Science and the National Medal of Technology and Innovation.
