As employee #2 my role was to scale up the company. I was working at the interface between digital tools and analog end-users; using the best of both, but often creating new solutions for barely-solvable problems. The results: -In 18 months we expanded to more than 1.2 million new users across 10 countries -I managed the end-to-end development, deployment, and scaling of 8 major digital products across 6 countries (Nigeria, Ethiopia, India, Malawi, Zambia, Kenya) -Product development included: UX Research, A/B testing, Human-centered Design, Content Design and production, UI Design, a bit of Data Analytics, and leading an agile dev team in Software Development (databases, web, mobile) for multi-channel agriculture products -Owned development of multiple product types including IVR, SMS, Platforms, Android Applications, Databases, and Telecom Integrations -Set up call centers in Malawi and Zambia including technical integrations with dialers and all major telecos -Ultimately helped Pula more than quadruple topline numbers, and helped our clients achieve their commercial and social goals (eg increasing a Fortune 100 client’s sales by 300% in region, enabling the World Food Programme to target and aid those most affected by climate change, and ensuring a national government could track it’s subsidized fertilizer investments.)

My coding project turned into a lifestyle business. Nest to Air helped students transition into and out of higher education. One branch was an advice platform for students managing the "Maslow dip" as they moved from the semi-protected enclaves of university to the professional world. The second branch was a multi-pronged curriculum and coaching program I developed for high schoolers to achieve entry into their "dream school." The later is still being licenced for use in the US.
