Deployed data collection, analytics, ETL, Oracle data warehouse and self-service portals. Focused business process automation and streamlining, integrating internal Oracle and MySQL databases with Salesforce.com and ERP systems. Led integration projects with ProQuest post-acquisition. Managed a customer support and sales engineering team known for high satisfaction and passionate customer loyalty. In a software startup, did just about every job at some point. Managed operations and service delivery to bring ebrary to production to a major academic content platform (sold to ProQuest/Cambridge Information Group in January 2011). Maintained lean teams with startup energy and much larger external footprints. - Led a small in-house IT team to build, deploy and scale the ebrary content delivery network built on Cisco infrastructure, Sun/Dell servers and commodity storage arrays running UNIX/Solaris, LAMP and Oracle. Responsible for DevOps, servers, network infrastructure, colocation/hosting, internet bandwidth. - Accountable for budgets, capital equipment planning and procurement. Drove procurement at deep discounts through aggressive vendor negotiation, partnerships and secondary market channels. - Implemented PDF content acquisition and systems, enabling publishers to contribute ebook content from their standard workflows. - Built an in-house customer support team providing highest industry customer satisfaction and retention.
