We hosted monthly meet-ups, fire-side chats & work-shops for early-stage founders in North Central FL. Notable speakers/mentors that attended our events include: Martin Schaffel, founder of AVI-SPL; Adam Diasti, founder of Coast Dental; Mike Cottmeyer, founder of LeadingAgile; Herb Jones, ex-CMO of Fracture; Ethan Fieldman, founder of Algebra Nation; Augi Lye, founder of Chromatic Games; Aidan Augustin, founder of Feathr; John Spence, Author & Global Business Coach; and many more. We also planned group trips to large tech conferences, such as Synapse Florida, eMerge Americas & CES in Las Vegas. We would take care of accommodations, negotiate a group discount & then bundle and sell to early founders in our network. For our largest event (CES 2019) we rented a 15,000 sq-ft mansion for 60 early founders.

Patented tactile pre-alerting system for first responders. The leading cause of on duty deaths in the fire service is a heart attack (National Fire Protection Association), and firefighters are 14.1x more likely to have a heart attack while the alarms are going off at the station (New England Journal of Medicine). EaseAlert helps reduce the shock of the alarm by giving a gentle vibration on a wearable device to first responders 1-2 minutes before the dispatch alarm goes off at the station.

Content marketing agency that specialized in video. I started the company during my 3rd year in college and made every single mistake in the book during the first few years. It taught me a lot about myself, including my strengths and weaknesses. It also served as a vehicle for me to learn sales, negotiation, marketing, hiring and management. Our agency produced content for some of the largest companies in Gainesville, FL, the University of FL, the Chamber of Commerce, the City of Gainesville & many more notable companies and organizations. I developed some life-long friends as well as some strong business connections, several of which went on to be among the first investors in OneSixOne Ventures Fund 1.

The OneSixOne Report was a platform where we interviewed successful entrepreneurs in a live-format, and shared resources and opportunities to help entrepreneurs/startups grow and succeed during peak uncertainty levels regarding the global pandemic. The show was launched just 1 week after COVID-19 forced OneSixOne Ventures to cancel all of our in-person workshops and networking events. Within 6 weeks, we managed to interview a pretty impressive line-up of guests including Jeff Hoffman, former C-level executive at Priceline; Marty Schaffel, founder of AVI-SPL (sold for 9-figures); Mike Cottmeyer, founder/CEO of LeadingAgile (boutique consulting firm with over 100 employees); and Lori Senecal, Global CEO for Crispin Porter + Bogusky, a global marketing agency that has been named "Agency of the Year" over 13 times, by some of the top publications in the Advertising industry. In late May, we made the decision to discontinue the weekly show in order to focus all of our efforts on our newly launched startup accelerator.
