Acquired by Statespace (Nov. 2021), a gaming performance analytics company led by Khosla, Lux Capital and Bessemer. • Played lead role in successful exit creating entire data room and involved in all key due diligence efforts. • Authored presentations and guided biweekly growth meetings with lead investor • Led successful recruitment efforts for Head of Growth and Product teams. • Developed and led all business unit economics and data analytics efforts to inform key decision making for company’s subscription and marketplace businesses.

    Brought in to globally co-lead the $25B+ franchise for Warner Bros.' and JK Rowling's business team to maximize revenue and brand extension opportunities. * Poised franchise to capture significant incremental revenue, leading the development of an inaugural strategic plan for the Harry Potter franchise. * Key influencer for approval of 4 mobile games, an unprecedented expansion, with forecasted revenue of $100M+. * Responsible for doubling the daily reach on Facebook, the platform’s largest movie site with 74 million fans.

  • SVP Strategic Development and Business Operations - Cartoon Network, adult swim and Boomerang

    2013 - 2014

    Initially hired to oversee a business development team of one person for one brand; responsibilities grew to managing five brands and 300 employees. Member of Network executive committee during entire tenure. Achieved record revenue - $100M, delivered record profitability and consistent performance (#1 Kids website for engagement for 10 straight years), and pioneered numerous industry firsts. This was my final role, where I directed strategic planning to drive business growth for three networks (Adult Swim, Boomerang and Cartoon Network) that was shared between Turner and Time Warner CEOs.

    2011 - 2013

    Promoted in 2011 with expanding oversight to co-lead the division’s Consumer Products and Home Entertainment businesses; retaining sole leadership of Digital, for a total P&L responsibility of $100M. * Achieved record profitability. Grew Consumer Products revenue by 50+% by expanding distribution strategy and influencing the network to negotiate its first distribution agreement with Netflix—resulting in record revenue growth of $100M in 2 years.. * Piloted and successfully launched the top strategic priority for Time Warner in 2012, deploying TV Everywhere for Adult Swim and Cartoon Network. Reimagined the platform's capabilities by deploying the industry’s first split-screen app. This new feature was heavily promoted by Apple and drove consumers through the funnel - leading to higher conversions and views. * Oversaw Game teams in the creation of 20 Top 50 apps for iOS and Android, including three ranked #1 – building a significant multi-million dollar revenue-generating platform that generates >50% profit margins annually for the company.

  • Senior Vice President Digital - Cartoon Network, adult swim, GameTap, Super Deluxe & The Smoking Gun

    2008 - 2011

    Promoted with expanded responsibilities to include Digital brands gametap.com (games subscription service), superdeluxe.com (original comedy site) and thesmokinggun.com (news site), managing a 300 FTE organization and $90M budget. Reported directly to the Network President. * Achieved record Digital profitability. Grew revenue 38% by increasing ad sales through custom offerings and expanding distribution in mobile video. * Delivered $50M in annual cost savings by performing a comprehensive analysis of all Digital operations, leading to the sale of gametap.com and closure of superdeluxe.com. * Launched gaming industry’s first AAA browser-based MMO game (FusionFall) achieving significant audience growth. Persevered in pulling together companies and personnel from the U.S., Germany and Korea to customize and deploy Unity technology, a first in the industry.

    2006 - 2008

    Promoted in 2006 based on outstanding performance, and continued to drive strategic growth for the New Media department’s Adult Swim and Cartoon Network brands. * Captured an 81% increase in revenue by aggressively growing ad sales and expanding strategic partnerships.

  • Vice President/General Manager - Cartoon Network and adult swim Digital

    2001 - 2006

    Promoted to oversee all aspects of the Digital business, including P&L, business development, creative, and product development. Platforms included Internet, Mobile, VOD and Interactive TV. • Transformed the Digital business from a $15M loss to a $2M profit while increasing revenue 130%. • Built and led the Adult Swim digital team from inception and deployed a television-industry first programming strategy - online premieres - launching 2nd OTT offering (Adult Swim Fix). • Led turnaround to profitability during a period of significant change (AOL and Time Warner merger). Structured aggressive, but intelligent, cost-cutting initiatives during recessionary period. • Reoriented product strategy to games, delivering 83% growth in monthly unique users (16M), achieving #1 ranking in Unique Users, and #1 in Engagement, repeatedly outperforming iconic competitors. As a result of these wins, gained CEO approval to invest $20M in gaming, the largest upfront investment in the Network’s history. • Brought Korean gaming expertise to the U.S. market. Led and negotiated an MMO agreement with Grigon Ent., marking the first time a U.S. company partnered with a Korean game developer. • Conceived and created an Atlanta-based games studio responsible for creating 15 games per year and overseeing games production with developers from five continents.

    Initiated and led all product development for the media industry's first OTT offering (Toonami Reactor). Negotiated all content and technology deals to launch product. Pioneered world premieres of English-language anime content, successfully cultivating a new digital audience in the U.S.
