    Launched in April 2013 and headquartered in Sheffield, the British Business Bank (BBB) is the British Government’s national economic development bank, taking on (and adding to) the operations of Capital for Enterprise Limited (CfEL) which I originally joined in 2010. Between September 2011 to May 2018 I was seconded full-time to the Angel CoFund, a delivery partner of the BBB (see above). Between March 2010 and November 2011 I worked as a Manager in CfEL’s Debt Markets team with oversight of the Government’s national loan guarantee programme, the Enterprise Finance Guarantee.

    Five years as a lead adviser on corporate finance to the SME market. During this period I originated, managed and completed numerous deals focussing on MBOs / MBIs and disposals. I also successfully executed a high number of smaller bespoke projects such as valuations, forecasting, general financial appraisals, debt and equity finance raising (including early stage) and financial due diligence. Whilst at Hawsons I was also a Director of Pro-Sheffield Ltd, a networking organisation, running the Young Professionals section.
