Served on the board of directors and as a member of the Audit and Nom/Gov committees from July 2018 to December 2022. During this time BorgWarner implemented a number of strategic actions to position the company as a leader in the field of EV propulsion systems, including battery packs, stationary and onboard charging, power electronics and drive modules. Actions included the acquisition of Delphi Technologies, Akasol and a number of other EV related companies, together with preparation for the ‘spin-co’, Phinia. In November 2022, BWA announced a semiconductor related investment, development partnership and long term supply agreement, which created a potential conflict with my role on another board. As a result I tendered my resignation to avoid any ongoing issues (whether perceived or actual) that may have arisen from this relationship. It was truly a privilege serving for almost 5 years on the board, I’m proud of my contributions and honored to have shared in the many accomplishments of the team during this period of time.
