Interned in a biochemistry lab under Dr. Marilene Demasi which involved conducting pharmacokinetic experiments with the proteasome in mice and yeast cells. Techniques used: dissection, western blotting, cell growth, fluorescence assays. Also attended the International Union for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology Conference in Foz do Iguacu, Brazil.
