Led business operations and strategy for the new international division of Ascension, the then largest U.S. tax-exempt health system ($22 billion) and the world’s largest Catholic healthcare organization at the time of launch. Day-to-day business lead to launch international JV with Ramsay Health Care (AU:RHC) with goal of increasing value and decreasing clinical variation. Author and co-presenter of successful business plan approved by Ascension Board of Directors for JV spanning 7 countries in 4 continents and creating over $200 million in economic value in 3 years. Member of Ascension Strategy Leadership Council and Ascension Ventures team reviewing new investments for $800 million portfolio.
Chief Strategy Officer and Chief Architect for Population Health

Led market and product growth for MissionPoint Health Partners, the population health / value-based care subsidiary of Ascension, then the largest U.S. non-profit health system. Designed and led execution of game plan to launch and scale across 5 new markets within 18 months and led collaboration of cross functional teams, resulting in growth from 60,000 to 250,000 lives, $1.5 billion of managed healthcare spend and over 15,000 providers. Chaired Boards of Directors for MSSP ACOs in Indianapolis and Evansville, Indiana. Negotiated and closed company’s first full risk contract with national payer, and designed portfolio of new capabilities to diversify revenues into alternative risk-based offerings, across self-insured, commercial, individual, and government-funded groups. Recruited, hired, and led Strategic Solutions (Product), Analytics and Business Intelligence, and Market Architecture functional teams. Served on Ascension Ventures portfolio assessment committee, reviewing potential new investments for the multi-corporate backed manager of $800 million funds. Acted as Ascension-Wide Strategy Leadership Council member.
