    atSpoke was acquired by Okta in August 2021. atSpoke was a modern service management (ITSM) platform built for the entire workplace. Customers like Mapbox, Confluent, PagerDuty, Change.org, Robinhood, Intuit, Cloudera, and Databricks used atSpoke to automate workflows and create convenient service experiences for every employee, wherever they were. atSpoke was based in SF, NYC, and India. We were backed by Accel & Greylock among others. Led engineering, product, design, and security. Also, helped in HR, legal, marketing, fundraising, and M&A. We were obsessed with customer needs, creating the best product, and innovating in an extremely competitive space.

    Led an amazingly talented team to: - Launch Firebase Test Lab for Android and Google Play Pre-launch report (both powered by Appurify) - Build and scale one of the largest and most secure mobile device clouds. We brought Android & iOS handsets, wireless, RF shields, new servers, racks, n/w, power & cooling configuration into Google datacenters; and allowed user uploaded apps to execute on those phones! - Deploy Appurify within Google to support testing and performance analysis of Google apps; Used by 50+ internal teams at the time

    2012 - 2014

    Google acquired Appurify in June 2014. Appurify was the first mobile runtime debugging, CI, and performance optimization platform. Mobile development teams at companies like Google, Yahoo, Dropbox, and Macy’s used Appurify’s device cloud to improve the quality and performance of their applications. Appurify was based in SF. We were backed by Google Ventures, Foundation Capital & Felicis Ventures among others. I spent time on all fronts, though engineering & product were functions I directly led. My most significant achievement was hiring the best talents across design, software, systems, networking, sysadmin, power mgt, hardware, and data center ops to create a first-of-a-kind product and continuously innovate.

    - Led the FarmVille mobile team to launch, scale and deliver ambitious growth objectives - Collaborated with the Facebook engineering team and Zynga product teams to incorporate new FB platform changes in FarmVille (request system, open graph, mobile). Invited to speak at Facebook developer conferences - Built tools to manage cloud infrastructure This was a great time to be part of Farmville which was a juggernaut at the time. I learned about product-driven growth, virality, monetization & data-driven decision making from some of the best.

  • Research Assistant

    2007 - 2009

    Center for the Study of Language and Information (Prof. Stanley Peters) Knowledge Systems and AI Lab, Department of Computer Science (Prof. Deborah McGuinness) As part of DARPA's Cognitive Agent that Learns and Organizes (CALO) project, I worked on a meeting assistant that automatically extracted & summarized decisions/action items in group meetings using machine learning and natural language understanding. CALO spun off Siri.
