• Architected and implemented the front-end interfaces and APIs required for the integration of Ethereum onto the Coinbase brokerage platform • Led the back-end work required to change buy & sell and send & request fees on the brokerage platform. Performed various A/B tests and data analysis to assess the effect of increased fees on buying patterns and profits • Re-wrote the legacy Ruby on Rails front-end in React, Redux and Mobx, including the primary buy & sell views, accounts page, and more • Built various APIs that were required to transition from a Rails front-end to React, Redux and Mobx • Designed and successfully drove the adoption of a new pull request process that required all engineers to use a standard template for creating and explaining pull requests

Drove the full-stack development of a product called "tap-to-android" (an app that enables anyone to provision their own Android instance and stream it over the network) to beta stage completion in under a month: • Configured an Android emulator using QEMU and built functionality to stream it over VNC via RFB protocol to a Node/Socket.io server • Converted color depth of image frame buffer using complex bitwise operators. Used Canvas API to paint emulator screen to client • Designed an event queueing system using Zero RPC to handle input events to emulator • Deployed Docker containers on dedicated Ubuntu servers and dynamically provisioned the containers using remote API • Built a highly customized Docker container consisting of Android SDK and runtime dependencies, Android emulator, Node.js/Socket.io server and necessary system and application libraries • Work with the limits of running containers in the cloud -- in particular, nested virtualization
