Piramal Sarvajal is an innovative social impact startup in the community-based drinking water space seeking to provide access to clean, drinking water to India’s underserved using technology and community engagement. I joined Piramal Sarvajal as the joint COO with a mandate for building systems and processes that would organize it for growth and market leadership. As the CTO I led the teams responsible for designing, developing and commercializing key technology disruptors including Soochak (remote management and monitoring systems for Filtration Plants) and the world’s first Water ATM – a cloud-based, solar-powered cashless vending ecosystem that enables 24/7 availability of clean drinking water at the last mile. I was also responsible for all financial processes including planning, budgeting, reporting and Key Results Area (KRA) setting for the entire organization as it's CFO.
