NOMO is a hat tip to the entrepreneurs who built businesses that lasted generations. We have backed companies such as Expensify (NASDAQ: EXFY), Nest (GOOG), Better Mortgage (NASDAQ: AURC), Chariot (Ford), Paintzen (PPG), AllTrails (Spectrum Equity), Pry Financial (Brex) amongst others at the idea stage.

Expensify (NASDAQ: EXFY) is a financial services startup that provides an online expense management service for businesses worldwide. Expensify is a great solution for both solopreneurs, start ups, SMBs, mid-market companies, and the enterprise. Expensify’s expense management service does expense reports by importing expenses and receipts from credit cards and emails in conjunction with the Expensify mobile app to take pictures of receipts. Expense reimbursement can be done in-product through ACH Direct Deposit or by exporting reports to a payroll solution. Expensify's patented SmartScan technology reads receipts and automatically creates expenses or matches them to transactions imported from a credit card. Expensify went public in November of 2021 on the NASDAQ and now trades under the ticker: EXFY

Hatchtoday has grown to over 2000 dynamic technology entrepreneurs across 3 locations in over 65,000 square feet in the heart of downtown San Francisco. Featured companies include: Casper, Sprig, Chariot, BloomThat, Meerkat, Clearslide, StubHub, SendGrid, MyTime, and many others. HatchToday companies have raised nearly $2B in financing. Hatch Today has an exclusive relationship with the San Francisco speakeasy, Bourbon & Branch — that means happy hour comes to our tenants at LEAST once a month.

We were venture backed by the Clean Energy Venture Group; with strategic investment from Conservation Services Group MyEnergy was successfully acquired in an all stock deal by Nest in May 2013 and subsequently acquired by Google for $3.2B.

We have 17 chapters and over 10,000 members in all 50 states. In 2011, CEN merged with the Advanced Energy Economy.

1 Block off the Grid (1BOG) aggregated homeowners who were interested in buying solar and used collective bargaining power to negotiate group discounts and group financing options on their behalf. 1BOG greatly reduced the cost of customer acquisition for installers and provided a trusted voice for homeowners. 1BOG raised $5M in venture capital financing from New Enterprise Associates (NEA). 1BOG was acquired by NRG Energy (NYSE: NRG) for $120MM.

The world’s leading people search engine. In 6 short months after launch, Spock.com became one of the top 1000 sites on the Internet and was covered by the Wall Street Journal, Time Magazine, Businessweek, Forbes, Newsweek, ABC News, NBC, NYSC, and the Financial Times. Spock was sold in May of 2009 at which time it was generating over 50 million monthly searches. We raised nearly $8M in financing from Clearstone Venture Partners and Opus Capital. Spock was successfully acquired by Intelius in April of 2009.
