Cision serves over 100,000 customers in 170 countries. - Member of executive team responsible for establishing overall product strategy and execution. - Oversaw project to transition the Viralheat’s facilities, financial ties, and employees to Cision. - Worked on a massive integration effort to unify monitoring and management of Cision’s data centers and related infrastructure. - Coordinated with engineering teams and Cision’s leadership in order to modernize Viralheat’s datacenter footprint in Fremont, CA. - Cision Communication Cloud: Led a massive integration effort to bring a major new product from inception to launch. Integrating core technologies from Viralheat, Visible Technologies, PRWeb, CisionPoint and Vocus PR platform into the next generation communication cloud platform.

Co-Founded Viralheat in my garage which went on to be one of the leading subscription based services for social media management servicing 200 enterprise customers and over 50,000 freemium users worldwide. Viralheat was venture backed by Mayfield Capital and was acquired by Cision. - Bootstrapped the company, architected, implemented and iterated over multiple versions of Viralheat’s data network, payment processing systems, and website. - Marketed and developed a compelling content program around Viralheat’s product which was picked up by industry leading blogs and publications. - Worked with early SaaS customers and grew customer base to a $500k+ ARR. - Raised seed financing from prominent angel investors. - Raised Series A financing from Mayfield Fund. - Designed and implemented large scale data aggregation systems which collected public social media data, blogs, and websites that might impact large brands. - Designed and implemented machine learning systems capable of discerning Human Intent and Sentiment on large fast moving real-time data streams. - Developed initial version of front-facing product in Ruby on Rails and Backbone. - Architected backend infrastructure comprising of 150+ datacenter servers and distributed servers in 3 different countries.
