The team combines both a deep understanding of enterprise software with a structured approach to problem-solving that drives unique insights and an ability to help "see around corners". Our understanding of where adjacent opportunities and disruption may come is informed by many sources, including the startup ecosystem, and particularly through SAP.iO, SAP’s strategic business unit focused on accelerating innovations and pathfinding new areas relevant to SAP and its customers. As Managing Director of SAP.iO, my responsibilities include the SAP.iO Fund (SAP’s early stage startup investment fund) and the SAP.iO Foundries, our global network of equity-free startup accelerators. * The SAP.iO Fund invests in B2B software startups, and has invested in 30+ companies to-date * The SAP.iO Foundries are in-residence programs (now in 11 global startup hubs) that offer a 3 fold value proposition: * Curated mentorships from experts internal and external to SAP * Exposure to SAP technologies and support for accelerating integrations to SAP systems * Opportunities to meet and Collaborate with SAO customers In addition, SAP.iO supports SAP.iO No Boundaries, SAP’s unique commitment to supporting inclusive entrepreneurship in the B2B software industry. As Managing Director for SAP.iO, I am responsible for investing in and accelerating early-stage external startup innovation - the next gen "Rising Stars" in enterprise SW who can strategically expand the SAP ecosystem around SAP applications, technologies, and digital platform. My responsibilities include: -- the SAP.iO Fund - making direct investments in early stage (Seed to Series A) B2B startups that are building solutions that enable customers to further realize value from their investments in SAP. We have made 30+ investments to-date, board observer at companies including Plum.io -- the SAP.iO Foundries – our global network of top-tier, equity-free, intensive programs for B2B startups, including accelerators, that provide them access to curated mentorship, exposure to SAP technologies and APIs, and opportunities to collaborate with SAP customers. SAP.iO Foundries are in major startup hubs including Berlin, New York, San Francisco, Paris, and Tel Aviv. We currently accelerate 100+ startups annually
