Spearheaded global research projects in novel tracking technology ideation, IP landscaping, system development, validation, and verification within integrated interventional device prototypes. Expanded Philips Research investigations into new fiber-optic sensors for tracking of flexible device shape and location. Led technical arm for strategic partnerships with Hansen Medical and Luna Technologies. Developed the technology for use in multiple modality clinical settings, leading to the first pre-clinical porcine demonstration with a cross-functional, global team of 15 PhD scientists and engineers spanning Philips Research, Philips IGT, and external partners (Hansen Medical, Mountain View, CA and Luna Technologies, Blacksburg, VA).

Supervised technical development targeting high-impact clinical applications, project management: developed and executed project plans, developed new business opportunities and targeted federal funding opportunities as lab PI.
