Working at CSC has not been long for me, just an year as of now, in the GIES vertical Over this time I have learned and implemented plethora of computing methodologies for multiple projects. My work revolves around web technologies and the Networking architecture, as I am in GIES. It involves the use of many open-source as well as self programmed applications. Open-source application included Drupal as the core, which was re-engineered inside-out to meet our needs, by developing and modifying its plugins, developing custom themes independent of the drupal framework but still engaged with its working, I developed an ITSM system with dynamic functionalities, according to the user's roles and predefined access. I have worked on in from the core till the finalization and have experienced new work areas and technologies which I wasn't earlier aware of, or never learned. Being the key developer of the project my responsibilities include constant and agile development of the project and provide the best solutions to the customers for CSC. It is a web project which is deployed on a failover cluster and my job is to keep the things as smoothly as they can with rigorous development in improving the technology used at the backend. The project technically requires the knowledge of PHP, MySQL, Distributed Networks, jQuery, javascript, LDAP, Powershell, VB Script, Ajax, DHTML, and Microsoft Technologies. It is much more than what I can put here in terms of knowledge, development, implementation and learning.
