2021 - Current
- Designed and implemented the daily safeguarding reconciliation standards and process, finely aligned with the approaches of the FCA and CBI (UK and IE financial watchdogs). This meticulous effort resulted in obtaining an auditor's sign-off with minor notes for the mandatory 2021 assessment in the UK. - Led the integration of the insurance method into safeguarding operations, significantly bolstering overall compliance arrangements. This strategic move not only enhanced robustness, but also slashed the annual costs of funding required for the e-money business model by threefold (to 120k EUR in 2023) - Orchestrated the seamless scaling of operations to accommodate a remarkable 9x surge in the Accounts base, from 150k to over 1.3 million, with more than 250k monthly active users. - Currently leading the implementation of the new Credit Card program for SumUp Brazil, further enriching the suite of offerings and capabilities (work in progress).

- Led the establishment of operational standards and oversight for SumUp EU’s Business Card and Account operations. Managed end-to-end processes including plastics logistics, payment operations, KYC, risk management, chargebacks, and customer services, supporting the first hypergrowth sprint from zero to a remarkable +150k accounts across 14 countries and 8 clearing currencies within the first 1.5 years. - Successfully managed the P&L of the e-money business unit, delivering a 9% reduction in total 2019 OpEx through strategic fee renegotiations and initiatives focused on disputes resolution. - Achieved an impressive CSAT score of 4.2 within just 1.5 years of launching the new e-money business, reflecting a strong focus toward consistent processes improvements.

- Successfully oversaw the complete outsourcing of the logistics function, a 60k monthly orders operation back then. This initiative led to exceptional operational outcomes, including a remarkable 32% reduction in order processing costs and a substantial 40% decrease in order processing time. - Spearheaded the implementation of an automated freight bidding process and skillfully renegotiated the primary courier contract. This strategic effort resulted in an impressive 22% reduction in freight costs for outbound orders, amounting to 3.1 million BRL in savings during 2018 alone. - Pioneered the implementation of AI-based chatbots for the website chat and Facebook Inbox support channels. This innovative approach achieved notable results, with an average retention rate of 71% for the website chat and 58% for Facebook Inbox. Additionally, it contributed to a significant 20% reduction in human interaction demand.

This partnership resulted on a new facility, inside UFSCar, exclusive to SimuCAD research group; - Participated on a project to elaborate a quantitative simulation model for internal logistics analysis for Unilever, which resulted on savings of ~100k USD in a production expansion scenario; - Analyzed the motion capture technologies and provided recommendations on which system would better fit Ergonomics projects.
