With a framework of the High-Level Economic Dialogue, the Mexico-US Entrepreneurship and Innovation Council (MUSEIC) is a dynamic bridge, capable of bringing together the entrepreneurship and innovation ecosystems on both sides of the border. The Council has been successful at establishing the benefits of cooperation between two countries through the acceleration of several binational private sector initiatives, fostered by the seven subcommittees of this mechanism, linking institutional actors and local key players. Maintaining border regional competitiveness and strength through innovation and entrepreneurship remains a priority, as it represents a milestone to boost economic and social development in both countries. In this regard, setting up new partnerships between academia, industry and civil society, to exchange best practices and new solutions to common issues, has been strategic to build a platform where openness, trust and cooperation converge to increase competitiveness and productivity throughout North America.
