Set up as an independent not-for-profit foundation, under the supervision of the Swiss Government, the Forum of Young Global Leaders works in close cooperation with the World Economic Forum to integrate its members into deep interaction with other stakeholders of global society.

Maitian Education Foundation is the first grass-root NGO in China to have received an official education foundation license from the Chinese government. Maitian's mission is to improve the quality of the education environment in the most rural parts of China through donations, initiatives/projects, and active participation of its volunteers. Currently, Maitian has over 5,000 active volunteers across China and has help to build over a dozen schools.
