Worked as a member of the strategic investment and corporate development team, and acted in-house consultant for enterprise priorities and initiatives: Deal flow and Investment Execution - Generate high-quality deal flow by proactively identifying investment opportunities through developing and maintaining relationships with Venture capitalists, Accelerators/Incubators, University, Angel Community, and Startup referrals. - Sourced and reviewed 800+ investment opportunities, conducted due diligence and built investment memos for selected opportunities, and presented them to the investment committee. - Independently led end-to-end execution of three investment transactions (i.e. deal sourcing, conducting due diligence, financial modeling, term negotiation) Portfolio Management and Partnership Development - Managed a $XXM portfolio and assisted 30% of portfolio companies to land a partnership or an engagement with business unit leaders of the enterprise. - Researched and developed intelligence on emerging trends and disruptive companies in and around strategic focus areas. adjacencies, etc - Collaborated with cross-functional teams including, legal, partnership, and business units to evaluate pilot/partnership opportunities that can diversify revenue and close functional gaps in enterprise Enterprise Strategy and Initiatives - Played a key role in an enterprise priority project involving building business cases and financial models for a potential joint venture, poised to unlock over $100M in annual revenue opportunity.
