l work with the Office of the General Counsel (OGC) and Enterprise Strategy executive leadership to develop and execute the OGC function’s global long-term strategy, identify and evaluate critical strategic priorities, and to catalyze action against these priorities through strategic and business planning processes. As the Director, OGC Strategy I am responsible for helping drive the strategic business planning process, authoring strategic & business plans, organizing & leading key strategic meetings, and serving as a critical thought partner to senior/executive leaders to explore complex business issues. In addition, I help lead cross-functional teams and be aligned to projects such as: - Leading end-to-end corporate planning for the Office of the General Counsel (OGC) - Aligning OGC priorities with key priorities across the business - Incorporating OGC strategy and outlook into NIKE Inc.’s annual planning process - Integrating business strategic priorities from across NIKE Inc. into OGC workflow - Ensuring that OGC priorities and perspectives are reflected in enterprise strategies - Driving special projects as related to new strategic workstreams occurring in the business The Office of the General Counsel (OGC) is comprised of: Legal, Ethics & Compliance, Social & Community Impact (SCI), Government & Public Affairs (GPA), Employee Relations, Resilience and Strategy & Operations. Together, our OGC Team has more than 800 employees around the globe serving all NIKE, Inc. brands: NIKE, Converse, and Jordan.

I supported the Managing Vice President, Head of Data Science & Card Intelligence for Capital One's Card business. Our multidisciplinary team of data scientists, designers, product managers, and engineers drove transformational impact to the credit card business through machine learning. My responsibilities included: - Maximize impact: Maximize executive time and network to drive the most impact possible. Gather, prioritize and structure critical information for the leadership team to enable effective decision making. - Strategy & OKRs: Own and manage processes around defining and communicating the strategic vision, three & five year goals, and annual planning. Run quarterly OKR planning, tracking/review sessions, and post mortems. - Growth & Market Analysis: Identify and evaluate strategic opportunities and develop robust and well thought through proposals, translating concepts or ideas into considered, impactful plans. - Architect of organizational health, design and efficiency: Proactively identify operational inefficiencies and develop / execute mitigation plans that include new processes, changes in org structure / practices and communicate initiatives. Develop a holistic approach to having a continuous view on organization health through a mixture of qualitative and quantitative information. - Build and refine org operating system: Develop operating cadences, reporting & accountability frameworks, communication & cascading frameworks, and people-related initiatives. - Talent ambassador: Support building a world-class team, by helping attract, interview, and onboard future team members. - Special projects: Proactively identify opportunities to add value. Come up to speed quickly, use experience and leadership skills to take the lead and ensure the project is delivered. - Partner with other org Chief of Staffs: Identify and address areas for improvement in org-wide operating cadences and frameworks, including quarterly and monthly business reviews.
Head of Entrepreneurs-in-Residence (EiR)
2020 - 2021
I led SAP's Entrepreneurs-in-Residence (EiR) efforts globally to recruit, onboard, and upskill EiRs on SAP strategy and innovation methodologies while scoping out new venture opportunities to future-proof SAP. Within the first six months of leading this new team, we received several million dollars in funding to launch our first venture in business process intelligence within the SAP.iO Venture Studio focused on driving cash into businesses faster by accelerating receivables processes through automation. Throughout this time, I led the team in building pipeline and exploring more than 30 different strategic opportunity areas where SAP could launch and incubate new innovative offerings and business models. In this role, I was also responsible for proactively engaging the SAP ecosystem on innovation topics and evangelizing SAP.iO.
Head of Strategy and Operations
2017 - 2020
I led strategy and operations for the SAP.iO Fund and Foundries – a fast-moving, rapidly growing strategic business unit within SAP that includes both a corporate venture capital fund and a network of accelerator programs for startups – helping to scale the group and its impact from 2 locations in the U.S. working with just 16 startups to 9 locations across North America, EMEA, and APJ supporting over 200 startups to integrate and go-to-market with SAP. My responsibilities included but were not limited to strategic and operational planning, goal setting and prioritization, headcount planning and budget allocation, partnering with cross-functional partners, facilitating leadership and Board meetings, driving the operational cadence for the group, conducting reporting analytics and process automation, identifying performance improvements and tracking, etc.
Investment Associate
2016 - 2017
Established the SAP.iO Fund, a new venture capital fund within SAP to make strategic investments in early-stage startups. As the first investment professional, I was responsible for creating traction, sourcing investment opportunities, and conducting due diligence on companies, industries, products, customers, and competitors. I sourced and closed 10+ seed and Series A deals generating the lion’s share of the fund’s book value. Portfolio companies have gone on to raise $100M+ in financing and BigID, one of my first investment companies, has achieved a $1B valuation and a Solution Extension (SolEx) partnership agreement with SAP.
Corporate Strategy
2015 - 2016
- Designed and structured a new business unit in SAP’s Global Strategy and Business Development group to harmonize cross-Board area innovation and incubation efforts (e.g., intrapreneurship, startup engagement, strategic investments, accelerator partnerships, etc.) - Worked directly for the CEO/CFO of a SAP customer on special strategic initiatives - Led strategic growth and product strategy efforts focused on both on-prem and cloud-based security products/services including conducting deep analysis of build, buy, and partner options across SAP’s current and potential future security offerings - Worked directly with senior SAP executive leadership and customers to define and cascade vision, identify and pilot new initiatives to impact pipeline, and ensure Products & Innovation, Global Customer Operations, and other Board areas achieve desired impact

- Drove agile user experience improvements with digital marketing and IT partners, gamification of eCourses, and the business intelligence-driven evolution of an innovative online and blended training platform for Saudi youth and job - Optimized network effectiveness and efficiency for a Canadian telecommunications company. Exceeded objective to reduce costs 10% while maintaining quality and service levels - Identified critical information assets and risks for a U.S. defense contractor.
