Leading building new innovative products and models, new Visa businesses and investments as well as partnerships and activities in the Americas, Russia, India, China, Brazil and the Middle East.

    Leading Innovation for the 14 carrier strong holding company with over 120 million subscribers and a foot print that spans north America, Africa, Europe and Asia. Responsible for the vision, roadmap, and business development behind the group’s product and service innovation. Responsible for creating the silicon valley and global partnerships and alliances required to achieve Orascom's long-term strategic objectives. Efforts include business development, trend spotting, scouting for new technologies and business models, as well identifying investment opportunities from early engagement throughout the due diligence process. Standout examples include: Founding and launching Waseela Bank in Pakistan, a major element in the group's global mobile payments efforts. Creating the cloud strategy, driving its execution and leading Orascom's investment in Joyent, a first of a kind for the group. Telefonica participated in the 85 million dollar round of funding. Responsible for all aspects of software development, deployment, and carrier-class hosted services operations for the hottest mobile payments company in the US. Worked closely with major partners including Verizon Wireless, AMP'd Mobile, Helio and other carriers to ensure successful delivery on all their supported handsets, including smart phones. using BREW and J2ME platforms. Managed testing and mobile client certification by QUALCOMM and others on a large number of handsets including Palm, Blackberry, Samsung, Motorola, LG, and Nokia. Worked on trials with Cingular Wireless and other carriers. Key Technologies: J2EE, Weblogic, Java, Struts, Brew, J2ME, and Oracle.
