Companies founded and led by women have consistently demonstrated stronger returns than the market but are still under-represented as a share of VC investments, and female founders are uniquely positioned to solve environmental and human health challenges given that women make 85% of all consumer purchasing and 80% of healthcare decisions. Created business plan, self-funded and launched microbrewery that grew from 500 to over 10,000 barrels per year, a 65% CAGR, and 20 full time employees within the 1st six years of product delivery. Developed strategy using sustainable closed loop approach (such as organic and domestically sourced ingredients and spent grain relationships with organic farmers), maniacal product quality and continuous innovation to build brewery into the largest draught only, self-distributing brewery in the U.S. prior to COVID. Refiberd is solving this global textile waste crisis through their patent-pending system that can process post-consumer waste into brand new textile products.
