We worked to achieve product market fit across US, Canada, Brazil and the Espanol markets ensuring the best available experience for our travelers. In so doing, we dramatically improved retention and activation allowing us to drive sustainable >50% growth across a number of markets.
Chief Financial Officer

During my four years as CFO we grew from c. £50m valuation to £1bn valuation. Skyscanner had been backed by leading European VC SEP since 2007 and in 2013 I was responsible for bring in US VC Sequoia. We did this transaction internally without advisor support. In December 2015, I was responsible for closing a raise for £128m. According to Pitchbook this was the UKs largest private tech raise to date. This brought in five more world class investors from around the globe. During my time as CFO we also acquired four fantastic businesses and formed a Joint Venture with Yahoo!Japan. I was also responsible for aligning investor, company and employee interests through creating a series of LTIP schemes as well as carrying out multiple buybacks. I would work closely with RemCom in forming and executing on these. I also reported to the Audit committee, significantly reducing the time to produce accounts over the period despite the org structure dramatically increasing in complexity.
