We remain focused on finding category winning companies in the enterprise software space like our previous successes with investments in companies like Mulesoft, Sonatype, Five9 and Aria Systems. Current active investments include Hopin, Arkose Labs, Vendia, Klue, Clarify Health Solutions, Aria Systems, and TidalScale.

Managing Director at the early-stage venture capital firm focused on enterprise software applications and infrastructure. Hummer Winblad Venture Partners was founded in 1989 as the first venture capital fund to invest exclusively in software companies. Through our history, we’ve had the opportunity to invest in the pioneers and leaders of several generations of software applications, architectures, delivery methods and business models. I've been with Hummer Winblad or our portfolio companies as an operating executive for most of the last couple decades.

Led product management at the company that developed the first purpose-built Hadoop cloud service. Helped sell the first customers, contributor to early marketing efforts. Involved in Series A and B financings. Managed product partnerships to make Hadoop into a platform consumable directly by business users. Altiscale was acquired by SAP.

Joined VMware through Akimbi acquisition. Product Management lead for Lab Manager, vCloud Director, and hybrid cloud products. Strategy work on VSPP, SMB, OpenStack and AWS. IPO: VMW

Led product management at the company that pioneered the Virtual Lab Automation space. Wore many hats-- managing product management, support, and training. Akimbi was acquired by VMware.

Subsequently created international Professional Services organization, signed and trained European implementation partners, and implemented customers in 39 countries.
