I was responsible for selecting and executing multi-million dollar corporate bond trades, and coordinating the trading book and related activities with other members of the firm.

Trading Assistant

2001 - 2003

I gained broad market experience through work at the Chicago Board of Trade, the Chicago Board Options Exchage, and other areas of finance in the heart of the Chicago financial district. I held various roles from lowly trading clerk, to order book operator for an equity-options market-maker, floor-trading assistant for U.S. treasury options/futures traders, back-office support for a corporate bond trading group, member of an S&P 500 e-Mini's trading group, and finally as a Member of the Chicago Stock Exchange.
