Director of Investor Relations
2018 - 2021
Responsible for planning, implementing, and managing all Investor Relations and Financial Forecasting, Planning & Analysis functions of Kleiner Device Labs. In my Investor Relations capacity, I serve as the liaison between Kleiner Labs management, and the community of existing and prospective investors. While relationships are primarily established during the capital raising process, it is vital to maintain and nurture these connections so that owners are in sync with executive management and the rest of the organizations’ key stakeholders. Keeping investors up-to-date on the progress of the company involves working closely with executive management in each functional area in order to gather, consolidate, and synthesize the pertinent details on business initiatives into easily digestible investor reports & communications on a periodic basis. In my FP&A capacity, I design, implement, and manage the budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis processes and reporting for Kleiner Device Labs. Outside of the monthly reporting and variance analysis, I support the CEO & CFO with ad-hoc strategic planning & analysis.

The Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) department provides support to executive management via financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, financial reporting, cost allocation, and ad hoc projects specific to each business segment P&L. As a leader on this team, I was responsible for developing the financial plans, forecasts, and executive reporting for a $200M+ and 2000 FTE portion of the corporation, with complex revenue and expense accounts in over 12 currencies. P&L drivers included: Salaries & Benefits, Pricing & Market Data, Funds Reclaim, DTC & ADR fees and rebates, and many others. Divisions of the organization that I supported included: Market Data & Pricing, Trade Operations, Securities Lending, Corporate Actions, Banking & Loan Operations, and more. This role entailed providing ad hoc reporting and financial analysis to senior executives, building budget plans & forecasts, variance analysis, financial consolidation, and team leadership. This role required cross-functional collaboration and influence, a deep understanding of the organization as a whole, communicating complex topics in a concise manner, and supporting senior executive management with the insight and analysis needed to make informed decisions.
